Circle of Trust Retreat

FLOW: Exploring Inner and Outer Currents in the Spirit of Fallingwater.
More Info & Registration
In this Circle of Trust retreat, you’ll be invited to listen deeply to your own inner teacher within a trustworthy space. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture and its integration of inner and outer worlds, we’ll explore our own inner and outer landscapes and open pathways for greater congruence, authenticity, and flow in our lives. Like Fallingwater, where structure and nature exist in a seamless dialogue, we will listen for the ways our inner truth seeks expression in the outer world—not through force or rigid design, but through the organic unfolding of what is present within us. There are a limited number of spots available, so register soon!

Pastors' Wives Retreat

Pastors' Wives Retreat

Male pastors: Has your spouse silently carried the weight of your call?  Has she wondered where she can turn for support from a cohort that truly understands the trials, joys and frustrations that accompany being “married into ministry”?
The Hampton-Shaler-Etna Ministerium and Brookside Christian Fellowship is planning a 28 hour retreat specifically tailored for pastors' wives. The event takes place September 5-6 at the Ark and the Dove retreat center in Gibsonia. Within the short time from Friday evening through Saturday dinner, Pastor Barbara Garlington will lead the retreat through a time of reflection, worship and value. Barbara is a beloved and well-respected woman of God married to Bishop Joseph Garlington. She knows the “inside track” of being married to a pastor.  This mini-retreat is geared to refresh the soul and reveal a new bond that can be had with others who often walk this path alone.
